Old
Point's ATM and Visa Check Cards give you 24-Hour access to your money at
numerous convenient ATM locations throughout
Hampton Roads, (including many in local convenience stores) as well as
thousands of network-affiliated ATMs all over the world. With either of
these cards, you may review your checking and savings account balances,
obtain cash, and make transfers between your accounts from virtually
anywhere in the world.

During traditional "in-store"
sales, verifying a cardholder's account ownership can be done face to
face; this is not possible with internet purchases. Due to this, there is
an increased chance for unauthorized purchases online. Verified by VISA
reduces the risk of unauthorized online purchases being made with a
customer's VISA Check Card.
If you have an Old Point VISA Check Card
you MUST register in order to be able to shop online at participating
stores. When shopping at participating online stores, you will be asked
for your password in order to complete the purchase. Online registration
is easy and free. Everyone on your Visa account will need to activate
their card and create their own personal Verified by Visa password so that
they can shop at participating online stores.
