Here are a few fun local April events for the entire family, from your friends at Old Point Mortgage!

Easter Spring Fling & Egg Hunt
April 1st, 10am-5pm, Hunt Club Farm, Virginia Beach

Hunt Club Farm kicks off the year with their annual Easter Egg Hunt and welcomes over 5,000 guests to enjoy this celebration of spring. Visitors find eggs, visit the Easter bunny and other costumed characters, take a hayride, jump in inflatable amusements, play carnival games and come prepared for several hours of spring time fun!!!

Wonders of the Sea
April 2nd - April 6th, 9am-5pm, Virginia Living Museum, Newport News
Join us for Spring Break and welcome our new moray eel! Take in the "Coral Reefs: Nurseries of the Sea" conservation kiosk, a screening of the award winning documentary "Chasing Coral," and sea-themed shows in the Abbitt Planetarium. Witness a scuba program and fish feeding in the Chesapeake Bay Tank and more.

Yorktown River Crawl
April 19th, 7pm-9pm, Riverwalk Landing, Yorktown
Experience the best Riverwalk Landing has to offer! Begin at Umi Sushi, take a short walk to Water Street Grille and finish your crawl with a little something sweet at Carrot Tree. Enjoy this delectable taste of Yorktown!

Spring BBQ Fundraiser
April 21st, 12pm-6pm, Carrollton Volunteer Fire Department, Carrollton
Join the Carrollton Volunteer Fire Department for their annual Spring BBQ Fundraiser and help support the continued success of the CVFD serving the local community.

International Children's Festival
April 21st, 10am-5pm, Mill Point Park, Hampton
Experience the beauty and wonder of exotic places as over thirty countries and cultures showcase their unique heritages.  

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes
April 27th, 4pm-7pm, The MacArthur Green, Norfolk
Walk-a-Mile in Her Shoes provides men the opportunity to help raise awareness about gender and sexual violence by walking one mile in downtown Norfolk wearing high-heels. Everyone is encouraged to join the fun and cheer on walkers. Proceeds go to the YWCA South Hampton Roads.
