The A Promise of Hope Affair is Patient Advocate Foundation's annual gala in support of our Case Management services and Scholarship for Survivors program. The gala will feature a disco themed evening of dinner, dancing, silent auction, live scholarship auction, and mock poker games.
PAF's Case Management program was designed to help patients access care and treatment recommended by their physician. PAF remains committed to offering financial, access to care and social needs navigation. We can help with:
- Reducing financial burden with charitable and community resources
- Enroll in health insurance disability and social programs
- Navigate insurance denials, appeal support, and coding/billing issues
During PAF's daily interactions with patients, PAF staff often interact with patients and families who have experienced the impact of cancer or a chronic illness on post-secondary education. In 2000, PAF established the Scholarship for Survivors program to honor these individuals by offering educational scholarships to students who have suffered (or are suffering) from cancer or a chronic illness. These students have, despite their diagnosis, excelled academically, served the community, and desire to pursue a secondary education.
